COVID 19 Procedures:

  • Cleaning and disinfecting between sessions with Lysol and Clorox products (doorknobs, lamps & lighting, end table, room/bathroom keys, water bottle I give you, towel warmer & tongs, lotion & sanitizer bottles, music iPod, massage table, bolster, face cradle, room fan, air purifier, white noise machine, client chair, massage stool, and whatever else I didn’t think of when I wrote this up)

  • Changing linens (including blankets) for each client.

  • Maintaining at least 30 minutes between sessions for cleaning and disinfecting.

  • Masking up before/during/after sessions with a multi-layer mask that includes a filter.

  • Washing hands and arms thoroughly before/after your session (“Happy Birthday” three times, not twice)

  • Taking my temperature at the beginning of each day; if it’s above 100 degrees, I will not have sessions that day and will inform you asap and reschedule you.

  • Offering a contactless payment option - (Zelle - Square)

  • Placing hand sanitizer in the room.

  • Wash hands thoroughly in the restroom before entering the massage room.

  • Wear a mask during the session (and when you arrive/leave), except when face-down.

        COVID waiver is required before each session 

  • I will take your temperature before the session.

  • Free of any dry cough

  • Free of shortness of breath

  • Diagnosis of COVID-19 (or presumptive positive) for you or anyone you live with, recently visited, or regularly work near within the past 12 days.

Do you provide a massage to anyone?

  • Those who need to relax and relieve the stress stored in their bodies. 

  • Those who are struggling so much under the weight of life stressors that it is impacting your body, health, relationships, and daily life.

  • Those who are living with the physical/emotional effects of trauma

I’m unable to work with you if you’re:

  • injured from sports, a bad fall, or a car accident — depending on the severity, consider seeing an injury rehabilitation massage therapist. I can refer you out.

  • buzzed — massage can amplify the effects of alcohol.

What are some benefits of a massage?

Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress-related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into:

Do I have to undress completely?

  • Nope. Do what feels comfortable for you. Some people leave their undergarments on.  I will always tell you to undress to your comfort level.  You will always be draped with a sheet.  I will only expose the portion of your body that is being treated.  Areas I’m not working on will always remain covered.  Sheets are mandatory.  Your modesty will never be compromised.  There are no exceptions to this policy.   Should a client want to ask to make exceptions - I will end the session and you will be asked to dress and leave - PAYMENT IN FULL IS STILL REQUIRED.

What products do you use for your sessions?

  • My lotion /gel is unscented, hypoallergenic, nut oil-free, non-greasy, cruelty-free, and dermatologist-tested.

  • Sheets are washed in fragrance-free, dermatologist-/allergist-recommended detergent

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • I accept cash and card payments via Square and Zelle.

What is your change/cancellation policy?

  • Please allow 24 hours’ notice of changes or cancellations to avoid being charged the full amount of your appointment.  Please keep in mind that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled services.
